Spoke to my Grum last night.
We spoke for 30 minutes about ... well, nothing really.
Love and happiness comes from spending time with those people you can have a comfortable silence with.

While I went to bed feeling Zen, waking to news of the 8.9 Earthquake in Japan, then reading BabyInBeantown and remembering driving from Waimea to Hilo on the Big Island of Hawaii the reality of damage that's occurred and damage to Hawaii likely to occur sunk my heart. Thankfully Hawaii has a great tsunami warning system and they have lots of warning today. Japan, though, the earthquakes they literally build for, but the tsunami is going to be more devastating than I think people are prepared for.
