Sept 14-18 (week 2)

Daily: German - 20 minutes Duolingo Reading - 20 minutes free choice - When you finish a story, complete a 'reading record' page in the composition notebook. (Title of book, title of short story within the book if it applies, Author, idea or theme of story/chapter, what you liked or disliked about the passage) Art Academy - at least one 1hr drawing with Mark Kistler English - 2 workbook pages regarless of time it takes to complete ENTIRE 2 pages Coding - one code.org game, Human Resource Machine in place of code.org once a week Math (daily as detailed below) Science/Health (daily as detailed below) History (daily as detailed below) Math We start using Khan Academy lessons M-Th M-Khan video lesson T-next khan video lesson W-next Khan video lesson Th-next khan video lesson Fri-online math challenge Science We start incorporating the Spectrum Grade 7 Science workbook twice weekly Week's Science theme: The Cell M- T-pages 46 + 47 of the Science workbook (The Cell) W- Th- Fri-pages 138+139 of the Science Workbook (DNA) History This is the start of our History lessons. World History - Connections to Today textbook by Ellis Esler will be our primary print source (rough sxhedule.
